About RCCA
RCCA is a nonprofit organization established in 2003. Our mission is to build a stronger Cherokee Community in Rogers County by providing information about our tribal government and programs and  opportunities to learn about Cherokee culture.

Upcoming Meetings
  • Friday, April 29th, 6pm-8pm - McGirt Forum at Claremore FUMC
  • Sunday, May 15 - Cherokee Genealogy Class with Curtis Rohr
  • Sunday, June 12 - Cherokee Storytelling with Robert Lewis
  • Sunday, July 10 - Outdoor Family Day at RCCA Building and Grounds with                                     Cherokee Stickball and Marbles Games.
  • Sunday, August 14 - Cherokee History of Rogers County with Curtis Rohr.
  • NO September Meeting - Booth outreach for new members.
    • Saturday, September 3rd - Cherokee National Holiday 
  • Sunday, October 9 - State of the Forum with Cherokee Nation Tribal Councilmembers serving Rogers County - Danny Callison (Accepted), Keith Austin (Invited), Joe Deere (Declined), & Dora Patzkowski (Invited)
  • Sunday, November 6 - Thanksgiving Holiday Potluck & Veteran Honoring Event.
  • No December Meeting – Holiday Break

​Each meeting  consists of:
  • A meal provided by a volunteer host/hostess
  • Brief business meeting for the 501c3 nonprofit
  • Presentation related to Cherokee culture
  • Updates from the Tribal Councilor's that serve Rogers County

Location
RCCA is located 5 miles South of Claremore and 9 miles North of Inola on Hwy 88 at 15488 East 523 Road, Claremore, OK 74019.  The RCCA building is 0.4 miles  East of Justus Tiawah School’s North campus.
